Lou's Place

What they do

A unique, community-based drop-in centre for women in crisis, feeling isolated or needing support. Most who visit Lou’s Place have experienced multiple traumas in their lives and the majority are facing issues of homelessness, domestic violence, mental health or addiction.

How we could help

⏺ Provide women with basic needs and dignity, such as home cooked meals, shower and laundry facilities, emergency clothing and toiletries
⏺ Offer those in need a diverse range of critical front-line services, including crisis intervention, referrals, innovative trauma-informed programs and free legal advice
⏺ Support with court appearances, medical appointments and case management
⏺ Present a diverse range of activities and programs are provided to build confidence, develop life skills, and heal from past trauma
